Congratulations with your new price. It is very nice to hear a version of yours from "A Day In The Life". I once heard Neil Young play a version too (together with the lyrics of the song), but his guitar playing was technically not at the same level as yours.

Hello, Jeff,

Please permit me to add a supplement to my last comment. As I told you before, I twice saw you playing in the past with the wonderful Jennifer Batten. Last Sunday (April 25th) I saw Jennifer playing in Zoetermeer in Holland and introducing her new CD/DVD "Whatever". I was convinced of her great playing. But with her solo concert she really gave me a big surprise and showed herself as a supertalent. She played on her own. No band. Just her and her guitar, a laptop, a P.A. outfit and a film screen at the back of the stage. On the screen were a whole lot of movie cuts running with each track she played. The clips showed me she has a good sense of humor and a great feel for timing and programming. I will remember her concert for a long time as a great event and I'm sure the CD/DVD will help me. It would be great if, at least when you have the opportunity, I could see you again playing with Jennifer in the (near?) future. First of all, though it's not too long ago since I saw you playing, it's good to see you once again here in Holland.

Have a great time during your tour.

Greetings,

I live in Kyoto. It's a city that continues in 1200.
Kyoto is a very old and mature city, and I am
getting to become like it.
Please visit there with your family some time
though you might be not interested in sightseeing.
I am looking forward to seeing you on the 13th.

What a show!!
I saw the shows on the 7th and the 8th. The
beautiful tunes from "Emotion & Commotion"
made me cry really. Your guitar was really
beautiful, and I felt again that you were doing
new thing. You showed us the new world of you,
and I love it. Of course, I was very excited to the
hard tunes, too.
The rhythm section of Narada and Rhonda were
very strong, and the two bass drams of Narada,
and the slapping bass of Rhonda shook my body.
Jason played an active part in the shows, and I
was surprised because he had sung.(And he
played a guitar at last!)

Besides a usual Stratocaster, you used another
Strato, Telecaster, and Les Paul ! I got excited
very much! On the 8th, my seat was only one
meter from the stage, and your wah wah pedal
was right side front of me. Whenever you stepped on the wah wah, I was watching it.
(You are still stepping it in my head).

You spoke Japanese at the end of the 8th.
You said to audience "I love you" in Japanese.
I saw you speak Japanese for the first time.
(The teacher was Jason). Unbelievable!!! Jeff!!!
Unbelievable!!!! How sweet!!! How lovely!!! Jeff!!
We love love love you!!!(I say more in my mind)

Thank you for Jeff, Jason, Narada, and Rhonda.
Thank you for the great performance in Japan.
I will see you in the show on the 13th.

I have only ever watched one Idol show and it was because Jeff Beck was on it. So looks like I am going to have to watch another Idol show on the 21st when Jeff is on it again, that is so cool.
