| Hey Jeff! A belated happy new year to you too. You are such an inspiration to me as a guitarplayer! Being an atheist I guess I have to thank the forces of the univers for having come up with you, to demonstrate how few limitations there is to playing an electric guitar. As long as you have imagination, 8-10 fingers, electricity and a decent amp the sky is the limit. And you are up there kissing it, to quote a certain other stringy guy. If I could chose to attend only one gig in a small club before I die this is the one gig I would love to see the most! So far I will make do with my DVD from Ronnies, which is really fantastic. I would just love to see you play in Denmark some time. Niels p.s. Is it possible to get a DVD with yur concert at the Udo festival? I just looove the version of somewhere over the rainbow from that concert. |

| A few thoughts came across my mind while hearing your "A Day In The Life" recently. 30 years have passed this year since John Lennon died. I thought that if he was alive, what would he sing, and what would he do. I can't clearly say something, but I surely think he must have loved your "A Day In The Life". It is expressed by your various tones, tunes and your pure spirit, it's wonderful. And I love it. I am wishing the Grammy ceremony will be wonderful for you. ♪♪♪ I heard Britain has been hitting by a cold wave after an interval of 30 years. Please take care enough about driving your car. T.T P.S. An Archaic hall is not in Osaka. It's in Hyogo. Hyogo is in the next in Osaka. I will be there on both days. ♪ |

| Dear Jeff, I'm still trying to figure out why a 59 les paul standard is known as the most expressive solid body & one of the most expressive players of all time uses a stratocaster.... someone hasnt been doing their math.... I can hear the tonal difference of the standard 2 point system tremolo opposed to a locking system...the spirit , tone & soul of a locking system is diminished in comparison...locking systems abilities are fewer as well.... I see why you have chosen to work with fender to produce the jeff beck models... when the floyd rose systems made headline , it became the trend in technology..I had to stop & think about what I was hearing you play & look at what you had to do it on to see the light of day.. Your guitar design, tone & playing will always be a great inspiration... Thank you for being da man !!! High & dry in the midwest - it would be great to see you on tour next time your in the u.s. your 14 shows back in spring were way off course for us midwesterners...bummer...
