end of Australasia tour......
14.Apr.2010 16:48
I have just finished the first leg of my world tour.
We started off in Seoul and then Hong Kong, this is the first time I have played in either place. Great experiences playing there and the audiences were great……
We then went on to Australia where we played in 6 different cities. It felt to get some sunshine and warm weather, although not too much time for sunbathing as I had lots of press to do to promote new album. I did get half a day to have some fun in Sydney where we took a boat ride which was great and then we were spoilt and took a private plane to Brisbane courtesy of David Lowy. Shows were a great success and the band is getting tighter every day!
Tokyo was good fun as always. The people are so friendly and helpful and the shows went down really well. I found out when in Tokyo that Emotion & Commotion debuted at #1 in Japan on the Weekly International Album Sales Chart as well as being #1 on the US Amazon Chart and #10 in the UK mid week album chart. Not bad for someone who hasn’t put out an album in 7years!! I am so pleased that people like it……….
Off to start West Coast leg of tour ………..

Thanks for an amazing show (Paramount Theater, June 15). It was a joy to finally have the chance to witness the brilliant Narada powering your music in a live setting. I have listened to Wired maybe one hundred thousand times, or so. The energy of your new outfit is amazing. Thank you for bringing your music to your fans year after year. Love the new CD. Love, love, love.

Hi Jeff, I saw you last night at Wolf Trap. I'm still reeling from the experience. I'll never be able to put into words what an effect you had on me. Your final song, the aria made famous by Pavarotti, was so amazing, and so incredibly moving, as were all the songs you played. Your band members are just superb. I was also touched that someone gave you a bouquet of flowers, and you passed them to a woman in the first row. I was on the lawn dancing and jumping up and down, as were so many others around me. I read that you're a vegetarian -- so am I! That's what helps keep you so ageless and so graceful. Thank you Jeff, I'll remember last night for the rest of my life.

At Wolf Trap, the most beautiful, sickest aural pleasure , just stunning! Appreciate the nods to Les Paul and Sly Stone. Kudos to the musicians, they are on-board with you and shoveling coal into a blazing engine! You are a blessing!

Hi Jeff, A great show last night at Wolf Trap. Narada was absolutely inspiring! Most of all, I thought "How High The Moon" was a beautiful touch. What a fitting way to honor the Wizard. Thank you so much for all the wonderful music over the years. Your music really has changed my life. Best wishes, Bruce McDiffett
